Blue Orders:

The U.S. has been engaged in serious diplomatic efforts with India for several weeks.
The new, nationalist government has been agitating for the removal of U.S. forces
from the island of Diego Garcia. Tensions rose when the Indian Navy sailed its new
carrier towards the island for "exercises". The U.S. responded by an "exercise" of its
own, sending 30 B-52Gs to Diego Garcia. This situation has cooled, the carrier is
reported back in port. The B-52s' are to return to Anderson AFB in Guam, but the
U.S. has no intention of giving up the important base.

Intelligence Reports:

CIA reports the new Indian government is all bark and no bite, expect no action from
them. Naval Intelligence reports all Indian carriers are in port and no unusual
activity at Indian air bases.

Rules Of Engagement:

The U.S. Navy is maintaining a maritime exclusion zone and an air defence zone of
200 NM around Diego Garcia. Ships or aircraft that intrude upon the zone may be
attacked and destroyed if they do not depart the zone immediately.

If attacked, the primary response is to "take all necessary measures to defend U.S.
interests in the area." Removal of any threat, on land or at sea, the best way to
implement this policy.
